Gamma Kappa Alpha - National Italian Honor Society. The purpose of the National Italian Honor Society is to: Encourage college students to develop a greater interest in and a deeper understanding of Italian culture; honor those who promote friendly relations and mutual respect between the United States (or Canada) and Italy; recognize outstanding academic performance in the field of Italian language and literature. Requirements: minimum overall GPA 3.0, 3.5 in Italian courses. The administrative fee of $40 includes the cost of your initiation cord and certificate. Questions?
