England/Wesley Immersion 2024

August 14th - 26th

This course, led by Dr. Robert Hunt as instructor of record and Dr. Ted Campbell as consultant historian, will bring students through Wesley’s England while simultaneously learning about British Methodism in the 21stcentury.

Students enrolling in this course will need to consult Dr. Hunt for details concerning readings, assignments, and specific travel requirements related to physical disabilities.

Students must complete both this GTE immersion AND academic registration for the course.

Students are responsible for tuition, fees, and travel costs. For information on financial aid related to tuition and fees please contact the financial aid office.

Non-Students are invited and encouraged to participate in this immersion and can also register below. 

The registration deposit is fully refundable before May 1, 2024. The full travel cost will be $3500.00 plus plus airfare and some lunches and dinners. Participants, both student and non-student, must book and purchase their own air tickets. The deposit due on application is $500.00. This is fully refundable until May 1st. The remaining $3,000 will be due on May 1st, 2024. Details for travelers will be available after February 1st.

The single room supplement is $800.00. The remaining cost after the deposit will be due on May 1st, 2024.

Travel stipend grants are not related to other financial aid awards.

Travel stipends will be granted based on need,

as determined solely by the student’s FAFSA information.

Students may request that their FAFSA be amended

if it does not reflect their current financial circumstances.

Travel stipend decisions may not be appealed.
