2026 Australia Global Leadership Program

The Australian Global Leadership Program (“GLP”) provides SMU Sport Management students with a unique and world-class international professional experience combining a 9-day Global Leadership Tour and an optional 6-week Global Leadership Internship. Students travel to major sporting hubs including Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, meeting with sport executives, visiting elite venues, and attending live sporting events. The tour offers cultural experiences and networking opportunities while introducing students to Australia’s global sport industry, including preparations for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games. Students may then participate in a customized six-week internship with leading sport organizations across Australia to gain real-world industry experience. Together, these experiences help students build professional skills, global awareness, and career connections.

Program Payment Schedule:

• 50% due by June 1, 2026
• Remaining 50% due by June 15, 2026
